Our middle school program is open to all 6th - 8th Grade athletes. It is open to all skill levels. We focus on teaching the correct techniques and foundations. We're all about learning the sport of field hockey and having fun while we do it!
practices
Middle school field hockey training focuses on building fundamental skills, game awareness, and teamwork. Players develop dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive techniques through structured drills and small-sided games. Conditioning and agility exercises improve speed and endurance, while team strategies introduce players to positioning and game tactics. Coaches emphasize sportsmanship, communication, and fun to create a positive learning environment that prepares athletes for higher levels of play.
All practices are held rain or shine outside on Horn Field at Kent Denver.
