2024-2025 Tournaments
Throughout the school year, RMFHC attends travel tournaments across the country to compete against some of the nation's top talent. Tournaments are a great chance for athletes to play against new competition and be seen by college coaches. We aim to make our travel tournaments great experiences both on and off the field.
All RMFHC athletes are welcome to travel but are not required to do so. We're always looking for more opportunities to play, so the following list is not complete.
- Shooting Star Thanksgiving Tournament - Richmond VA, - November 29 - December 1
- Winter Escape Showcase - Orlando, FL - January 17-20, 2025
Thanksgiving Shooting Star
Shooting Star is a very important recruiting tournament held in Richmond, VA over Thanksgiving weekend. This is a great chance to play top teams and be seen by lots of college coaches.
Tryouts for this year's Thanksgiving Shooting Star Tournament will be held on September 21 from 10 - 12 pm at Kent Denver School. We will be taking one U19 team to Richmond. Competitive U16 athletes are encouraged to tryout. The final team will be selected and notified on September 22.
If selected, it is expected that your athlete will be able to attend the tournament. Selected athletes are REQUIRED to sign up for and attend all Fall second session practices. While it is not required, we highly encourage you to attend the First session practices too. All second session practices are from 10:30 to 12 pm on Saturdays. Here are the dates:
- October 26 at Kent Denver School
- November 2 at Kent Denver School
- November 9 at Kent Denver School
- November 16 at Kent Denver School
- November 23 at Kent Denver School
